Prayer 0f August 10, 2002

 

Lord, this is my prayer tonight as I learn that another of Thy children has been struck with ovarian cancer. Mother may she heal and regain her full strength to carry on her sadhana. May this difficult burden be lifted from Thy child, Betty, if it is Thy will.

All through Mary Helen's long illness this was our one prayer - "If it be Thy Will." I pray again, Lord, for this gentle soul, Betty, that through this time of physical distress she may grow closer to Thee, open to Thy healing founts of Grace and surrender herself to Thee. I ask Thee to give her strength, indomitable courage, unshakeable determination and to feel ever present in her Thy all-encompassing love.
